The Master is still the Commissioner of the Western Wrestling Association for a long time to come. I sat down with The Master and asked him why he would want a job with a bunch of pompous ass wrestlers. He said to me, "after being in the business for over thirty years he's had some great teachers." I said what do you mean? He said I have worked for the likes of David Crockett in Atlanta who taught me how to be extremely patient when it came to working with a bunch of wrestlers who had talent and some without. When I went to work for Stu Hart in Canada, that's when I really started to learn about the business. Stu was probably the best teacher and mentor that anyone could ever have. His son Brett taught me more about the wrestling business than anyone. Bob Geigel and Harley Race ran the Kansas City area. Bob Geigel always said patience is everything but there are times you just have to get in the ring yourself and "kick some ass" and that's a quote from the boss himself. The Master says he has lived by that throughout his wrestling career and now as the Commissioner he goes by it. We all know over the last few years he has had a lot of problems with Sonny Bright and Shade, the group know as E.V.I.L. and when I asked the Master what he's going to do about E.V.I.L. he said" Don't worry about it, I'll take care of it, get out of my office." I recently went to a match where I proceeded to watch him suspend one wrestler, fine another one, and take the Tag Team Titles away from two more. Then he turned to me and said, "stick around for the second match, the night's young yet!" All of the matches that The Master has been putting together would be main events anywhere in the country.
